James Webb elected local president of national chef organization

James Webb, corporate executive chef for the Cortland Auxiliary Services Dining program, has been elected to a two-year term as president of the Syracuse chapter of the American Culinary Foundation.
The ACF is the largest professional chef organization in North America. Jim hopes to add to the 40-plus local members, focusing on the food, preparing chefs for success through educational events, and introducing innovative guest speakers to the culinary agenda.
Jim invites all culinary professionals to share their experiences and create a community that embraces innovation and the love of all things food!
He is excited about the appointment. "I know a great many chefs in this role, my mentor being one of them. I hope I can do right by them as I have some big shoes to fill and will do my best to make our members happy."
"It's a great challenge, and I will do my best to meet it."
