EVENT PLANNING TIPS

Please note that SUNY Cortland is a tobacco-free and electronic cigarette/electronic aerosol delivery device-free campus. 

Tobacco and electronic cigarette/electronic aerosol delivery device use is prohibited everywhere within the perimeter on all SUNY Cortland property, both indoors and outdoors, as well as in College-owned vehicles, and in any vehicle on SUNY Cortland property.

Who do I call to reserve a room on campus, or to reserve the Alumni House?

SUNY Cortland faculty, staff, and students through their advisors can reserve a room through the My Red Dragon room reservation system. All other customers should call the Campus Activities office at 607-753-5574.

Prior to ordering catering services for any particular room, please check that you have received a confirmation that you have indeed reserved it successfully.

What do I do to arrange for tables, chairs, etc.?

SUNY Cortland faculty, staff, and students through their advisors can reserve a room through the My Red Dragon room reservation system. All other customers should call the Campus Activities office at 607-753-5574.

In the My Red Dragon room reservation system indicate the following information:

  • the number of chairs, tables, coat racks, and wastebasket needed
  • if you need a piano, blackboard, podium with sound, risers, and any other items

Call the supervising janitor in charge of setting up your room to confirm your room arrangement. On the day of your event, show up early to check your room set-up.

Pick-up Service

Taste to Go is easy to order, easy to enjoy and easy on your budget!
We package Taste to Go orders so that you can easily pick them up and transport them to your event Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
